The Natural State Wellness Foundation offers a private practice–based traineeship for graduate-level MFT and PCC students with a nonprofit or 501(c)(3) training site.
As a nonprofit training program, we provide a supportive clinical learning environment for trainees who want to grow clinically while also learning the foundations of building a sustainable therapy career. Trainees receive clinical supervision from an ACS Clinical Supervisor and gain hands-on experience with documentation, intakes, treatment planning, telehealth, ethics, case consultation, and professional development.
Trainees also gain exposure to the business side of private practice, including client engagement, referral development, ethical marketing, practice workflows, and long-term career growth.
Our training approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and rooted in somatic care, CBT, DBT-informed therapy, mindfulness, and relational models. Trainees may work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents depending on clinical fit, supervisor availability, and university requirements.
We are seeking motivated, ethical, and growth-oriented trainees who are ready to develop confidence as clinicians and learn how private practice works from the inside out.
